Pregnancy and so Called "Clear Gland" or Arias-Stella Reaction

Abstract
|
|
|
1) Observation were made in 30 cases of pregnancy including 15 cases of the tubal pregnancy and the uterine abortion upon the so called "Clear gland" of endometrium.
2) "Clear glands" were elicited in 6 cases(40%) of the tubal pregnancy and in 4 cases(26%) of thee uterine abortion.
3) Appearance of the "Clear glands" in endometrium, devoid of the decidua following the casting off of deciduas were observed in 50% of the all cases of the tubal pregnancy and in 25% of the uterine abortion.
4) The presence of "Clear gland" is- unlikely to be pathognomonic in verification of the ectopic .pregnancy.
